“Hospitals and health systems are looking to establish a standardized set of metrics,” Love said. “This panel’s aim was to discuss how hospitals, nursing facilities and home health agencies are striving to become the post-acute provider of choice. The discussion included acceptable standards and the composition of current scorecards, as well as how hospitals and health systems are working to become attractive partners.”

The Healthcare Dealmakers conference is the premier forum for healthcare providers and their capital sources to discuss the challenges of deal-making in the rapidly-changing marketplace. The event brought together healthcare leaders from around the country. Speakers included Jonathan Scholl, executive vice president and chief strategy officer of Texas Health Resources; Keith Pitts, vice chairman of Tenet Healthcare Corporation; Robert Pryor, MD, president, COO and CMO of Baylor Scott & White Health; and Christopher W.
