The Dallas-Fort Worth Hospital Council (DFWHC) is a non-profit trade association for hospitals in the Dallas/Fort Worth area committed to the continuous improvement of healthcare in the metroplex. We are the hospitals' "Next Door Neighbor."

DFWHC is comprised of hospitals and healthcare organizations throughout the North Texas region spanning over a 100-mile radius from its headquarters in Irving, Texas.

DFWHC is governed by an 13-member Board of Trustees made up of hospital Chief Executive Officers or Chief Operating Officers. The trade association's membership consists of hospitals licensed by the State of Texas as acute care facilities. Associate membership is made up of healthcare-related businesses and organizations linked to our local, state and national health industry.

Day-to-day needs of our members and clients influence the efforts of DFWHC. We have a 39-year history of service to hospitals in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
