IRVING, TX – The Dallas-Fort Worth Hospital Council (DFWHC) Education and Research Foundation will be presenting the 12th Annual Employee of the Year Luncheon on Thursday, May 22 at the Dallas Marriott Las Colinas in Irving, Texas. A reception begins at 11:00 a.m., followed by the luncheon and award presentations from 12:00-2:00 p.m.

The Employee of the Year Luncheon serves to boost morale in the healthcare community and offers hospital employees a chance to be recognized. This is an occasion where hard work and community spirit are acknowledged and validated. This year, a new tradition begins. To build excitement and to truly honor all of the employees nominated, winners will not be announced until the luncheon itself. Recipients of the 2008 awards will learn for the first time of their honor at the event. Join us in this dramatic salute to one of our most important hospital resources - outstanding employees!

This year's Keynote Speaker will be Jim Champy, Chairman of Perot Systems' consulting practice. Champy is recognized throughout the world for his work on leadership and management issues. He is the bestselling author of Reengineering Management: The Mandate for New Leadership, The Arc of Ambition: Defining the Leadership Journey and Outsmart: How to Do What Your Competitors Can't.
