Hospitals in Dallas, Tarrant, Collin, Denton, Johnson and Parker counties collaborate to produce a set of comprehensive needs assessment documents. Hospital representatives from the six counties work together to create the Community Health Checkup. These assessments are used by North Texas hospitals to meet state regulatory requirements. They are also used for community health planning, service development, new service location and grant writing.
